
Alexis is a litigation associate at Oliveri & Larsen. Prior to joining the Firm, she served as a Deputy Clerk in the Buncombe County District Court and as a judicial intern for the Honorable Allison J. Riggs on the North Carolina Court of Appeals.
During law school, Alexis served as Managing Editor of the Journal of Law and Policy and received the Journal’s Writing Award. She was an active member of the Moot Court program, earning Best Brief in the Region V National Moot Court Competition. Alexis also participated in the Appellate Advocacy Clinic, where she drafted a brief for the 4th Circuit, and later served as a Teaching Assistant for the Appellate Advocacy course.
Alexis earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Wake Forest University School of Law and holds dual undergraduate degrees in Economics and Religious Studies, with distinction, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Outside of her legal practice, she enjoys writing fiction, swimming, and traveling.
